  • On the detailed maps (View/Print, below), you'll see a bunch of skinny gray lines; these are cross-trails, also known as: places to get OFF COURSE/LOST. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THE COURSE MARKINGS AND SIGNAGE, you'll enjoy the run more if you follow the course...
  • The course is segmented into "legs." Each leg starts and ends at an Aid Station.

Now read along on your Course Map while I sing you the virtues of each leg...

Lake

4.5 miles

A great bit on a nice wide trail. Be careful when crossing the road. There is some elevation change but the trail is wide and has good footing. At about 3.5 miles you join the campground road; if the vandals (children) have pulled flags just stay left on the road. Hopefully not, they've been pretty good in years past.

You’re following BLUE!, make sure you PAY ATTENTION! Again, we're running through the campground area; it’s your job to pay attention to the course markings and signs. You'll pass by the lake, so cool off if you'd like. Watch for the turn onto the East Bluff trails; we're headed up the East Bluff Woods Trail. On BLUE.

Good trail to the aid station with no safety barriers – 300’ drop on 3 sides. Uh, be careful here…
